After a day of kids with chiggers and doctor's visits because I cannot move my head in one direction or another without severe pain. I come home to find that -->
I post one rooting Bible verse about profanity and I lose 22 subscribers?!?! WTF? Not to mention my page hits have fallen in half.
You really know how to kick a girl when she's down.

Hey, I suspect a discrepancy in your feedburner counter. I'm not a feedburner subscriber (I don't even know what that means), and I'm still here! Does that count?
And I doubt seriously it has anything to do with the church posts. You've done them before, its not like you hide them -- and you just did a rootin' pole about them! So, its not like no one knew they weren't coming.

I don't use much profanity, but I have a feeling GOD doesn't worry about the little stuff like that. Just the overall how you treat others kind of thing. Just my opinion.

Found you through Mamalicious. Loved the post (especially b/c I have a potty mouth too) and am totally impressed that you can know how many hits your site has. I think I need to google feedburner and possibly Bible verses as well.

I guess that my stance is that...f you are a good person (love and cherish those around you)and you strive to be a better prson every day. THAT is what God wants from us. - Just my view.

I try to steer away from religion and politics as a rule of thumb. Not because I care how many readers I have, I just hold those two subjects as extremely personal issues and left to each individual for contemplation. Fidel and I don't even discuss those subjects because we do not see eye to eye and we just agree to disagree.
Sorry my dear. I was out of town all weekend then woke up with a Migrane at 4 am. I am having a hard time keeping up. I promise to better when I get back from Atlanta on Friday.
I'm still here, too. I wish I had the balls to write some spiritual posts. Don't let it get you down. It might have had something to do with the change in the subscription service? Didn't the post and the change happen at about the same time?

Maybe it was just a slow day. I am not sure if you could tell from my post but religious, I am not, spiritual, yes. I enjoy a good discussion on interpritation of any written subject and that includes the bible. If some people can't hack it, they are missing out on sme great stuff on your blog.

Uhm, "Me"...Just want to point out that just because we comment here, we aren't butt kissers. I take major issue with that. I enjoy the church posts, and (as background) I have major religion issues due to things that I have dealt with in my past. So, while I may/may not agree, doesn't mean I shouldn't compliment her on a thought provoking and thoughtful post.
(Sorry, I'm very defensive tonight and don't like being called an ass kisser)
LOL. Me must've been having a moment because she knows Dre from the closet and should therefore realize that we LOVE being stalked. Hence the comment.
Also, when I started my spiritual posts it was for that reason... because I've got issues with my background in that department and I enjoy posting thought provoking posts from time to time.
If you can't be respectful in conversation with others though, this is NOT the site to frequent because religion and politics are both discussed here and we do it like grown ups.
